I haven’t done as much as I wanted to (still got stuff done, just not as much as I had planned).   It’s been fun being out in the sun especially since I’ve had a lot of out of town visitors.  They all decided to visit this summer - no idea why.

I’ve been on track on the thirty day challenge and a couple other things.  Will post a more detailed blog later in the day.

I took a step back this weekend to take stock of where I was.  Not where I want to be.  Ok - back to work now.  More explanations later in the evening.

Not a big believer in sunscreen/chemicals, I normally don’t use any. This didn’t use to be a problem when I lived in the midwest.

Not sure what it is with the SoCal sun, but I am sun burnt! Yikes!!! The skin on my right arm is peeling. Aloe Vera is helping.

Skimmed through a book titled “Skinny Bitch” at Barnes & Nobles. Basic premise - Consume naturally produced foods, eat just what you need and exercise, become skinny but don’t become bitchy.

Seems like common sense doesn’t it? Not if you see all those books on no effort weight loss. Not sure where I heard this, but I have this taped on my wall “Shut your mouth and walk more”

Talked to a friend who just got back from a 3 week vacation. He said that it was too long to be gone from his job and that he has a lot of things to catch up on. That he probably won’t go on long vacations like this any more.

Got me thinking. One of the reasons I am building my business is so that I can go away for as long as I want. I remember reading about “The Century Club”. The only way one can be a member is by having proof of having visited at least a 100 countries. That is one my goals. 12 visited , 88 to go !

Another reason is so that I don’t become like this
